High Holborn, London
Our scheme for Dyers buildings delivers a prime residential complex of 35 apartments and duplexes in a enclosed historic street directly opening onto Holborn.
The scheme was designed to respect the historical context and fabric of the site and to offer an exciting Central London living experience. The development includes 11 two bed duplex apartments at ground and lower ground floors, offering exceptional double height living quarters by cutting large voids into the existing ground floor slab. 9 of the 11 duplexes benefit from a private front door entrance at street level, whilst the remaining two are accessed through the shared entrance in the oldest building on the street.
The first and second floors provide 16 spacious one and two bed lateral apartments with windows to both elevations, 4 of which benefit from views into Barnard’s Inn and a further 4 with views towards The Prudential Building. The third and fourth floors provide 7 two bed and a single 3 bed duplex rooftop apartments, with a variety of balconies, double height living space and picturesque views along the scheme towards The Prudential Building and into Barnard’s Inn.
All residential units are cross ventilated with windows on both sides, and benefit from the north/south orientation of the site, which maximises exposure to natural light throughout the day.
