Adam Saint

Architectural Assistant (Pt I)

Adam joined us in 2025 as a BA graduate from the Leeds School of Architecture, with prior experience working as an assistant at DLA Architecture in Leeds. He is a highly skilled hand-drawer and was the winner of the West Yorkshire Society of Architects’ live drawing competition. His undergraduate work was nominated for the RIBA Bronze Medal and has been exhibited internationally, including in Norway and Japan. Since joining the JFA team, Adam has contributed to a range of projects, bringing strong capabilities in model-making, technical drawing and visual communication, alongside confident CAD skills.

Alex Brean

Interior Designer

A midweight interior designer, Alex has experience of working in the freelance sector as well as for design practices including Dalziel & Pow and Daytrip Studio. He has a keen eye for detail, is meticulously organised and able to work efficiently under pressure. Since joining Jamie Fobert Architects at the beginning of 2025, he has been working full time on our international design concept for quality distillers, The Macallan.

Andreia Costa

Associate Director

Andreia joined Jamie Fobert Architects in 2010 and was made an Associate in 2015 and Associate Director in 2024. Born and raised in Portugal, she studied and qualified as an Architect at the University of Porto, receiving the accolade of Best Student in her final year. She went on to work in the award-winning practice of José Gigante whilst also teaching art and architecture at the University of Porto and the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art. Andreia moved to London to work at Terry Pawson Architects. Since joining Jamie Fobert Architects in 2010, Andreia’s projects have included innovative, high quality fashion retail design for Selfridges, Versace, and BHV as well as exhibition design for Tate — such as ‘Patrick Keiller: The Robinson Institute’ — and a house in Galicia. She ran a major project for Galeries Lafayette within a highly sensitive heritage context in the heart of Paris as well as a substantial new house in Dublin and a new gallery for Pace in Hanover Square. She is currently overseeing the design of our new Maggie’s Centre for Coventry.

Benna Schellhorn

Practice Manager

Benna Schellhorn joined Jamie Fobert Architects in 2005 and was made an Associate in 2012 and an Associate Director in 2024. She read for an MA in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge and an MA in Cultural and Critical Studies at the University of London. Prior to joining Jamie Fobert Architects, Benna worked at the Royal College of Art and as PA to sculptor Sir Anthony Caro. She has a keen interest in good, clear writing and, in particular, the dynamic relationship that can exist between text and images. As part of her role as Practice Manager, Benna oversees all Jamie Fobert Architects’ written content, including website and competition bids, as well as new business enquiries and client agreements.

Chris Dove

Associate Director

Chris studied at Liverpool John Moores University, The Mackintosh School of Architecture, and the University of Westminster. During his studies at The Glasgow School of Art, he was shortlisted for the AECOM Student Award 2014 and lectured in the AIA Center for Architecture, New York. He went on to work on Scotland’s entry to the 2014 Venice Biennale, curated by Rem Koolhaas, and then worked at Wilkinson Eyre Architects in London. Since joining Jamie Fobert Architects in 2015, Chris has delivered construction and detailed design packages for projects in the arts and residential sectors, including Tate St Ives and Kettle’s Yard. Chris qualified as an architect in 2018 and he was the Project Architect for the Villa in Primrose Hill, completed in 2020. Presently Chris is heading up our redevelopment of the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Chris was made an Associate in 2021 and an Associate Director in 2024.

Emily Eason

Associate Interior Designer

Emily studied for a BA in Interior Architecture and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University where she was awarded with an Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2012. Emily has since gained extensive professional experience working at State of Craft and Squire and Partners, where she specialised in high end residential developments and luxury private homes. Since joining Jamie Fobert Architects in 2017, she has continued to design for private houses and she has also expanded her work to include high quality retail design, including Selfridges Menswear, I.T Hysan One and The Macallan. Emily now leads our interior design team and was made an Associate in 2024.

Eve Talty-Sanghera

Architectural Assistant (Pt II)

Eve joined Jamie Fobert Architects in 2024, after graduating from the MArch course at the University of Cambridge. She brought breadth of practical experience garnered from working for a range of architecture firms: OMI Architects; Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Chicago; Six-Two Architects; and Purcell. Balancing theoretical knowledge and real-world application, Eve is a responsive, collaborative team player with a knack for insightful communication. She is currently working in the Tower of London team.

Hellen Siu

Associate

Hellen is a highly skilled and confident Architect with over a decade of experience as a qualified Architect. She has an outstanding academic background, receiving first class honours and commendations from Kingston University, the University of Sheffield and the University of Westminster, and a broad experience of architectural practice in the UK, including work for Haworth Tompkins. Hellen joined Jamie Fobert Architects in 2018 to take on a senior role for the National Portrait Gallery project. Recently, she has been working on projects at the Tower of London for Historic Royal Palaces. Hellen was made an Associate in 2024.

Imogen Erskine

Architectural Assistant (Pt I)

Imogen graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with First Class Honours in 2024, earning a nomination for the RIBA bronze medal, before spending a year working within a conservation practice, Consarc Design Group, in Belfast. This deepened her appreciation for the reuse and conservation of existing buildings and the complexities of working with historic fabric, alongside her interest in beautifully crafted spaces. Since joining the JFA team in 2025, this experience has been brought to bear in her contributions to our work at the Tower of London, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Jamie Fobert CBE

Director

Jamie studied architecture in his native Canada at the University of Toronto. He arrived in London in 1988 and began working for David Chipperfield Architects, when it was a team of 7 working from a small room at the back of the 9H Gallery. During his 8 years there, Jamie oversaw the set-up of a new office, DCA Berlin. Then, in 1996, he founded his own practice, Jamie Fobert Architects. Today, the practice has grown to be an outstanding team designing projects of significant scale, such as Tate St Ives and the National Portrait Gallery. As Director of Jamie Fobert Architects, Jamie invests personally and contributes his design expertise to every project. He lectures and teaches widely and has a deep involvement in the arts. Jamie was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2020. He is a Trustee of Camden Arts Centre and the Chair of Trustees for the Architecture Foundation.

Joshua Godley

Architectural Assistant (Pt II)

Josh joined the JFA team in 2024, after completing the MArch at Kingston University, where he achieved a Distinction and was winner of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects Sustainability Award. He previously worked as an assistant at Rundell Associates and FCH Architects. With a passion for materials and a collaborative approach, Josh is a valuable contributor for ambitious, high quality, detailed projects. At Jamie Fobert Architects, theses have included the Royal Observatory Greenwich and, currently, the new Maggie’s Centre for Coventry.

Laura French

Studio Manager

Laura completed a BA in Fine Art at the Dublin Institute of Technology before leaving her native Ireland for Australia, where she combined travel and work, gaining extensive office support experience for a diverse client base. In 2014, she moved to London, fulfilling an ambition she had held since 2009 when she completed an Erasmus year at London’s University of the Arts. Laura worked as Office Manager for interior designers Celeste dell’Anna Designs before joining Jamie Fobert Architects in 2015. As well as being the first point of contact for the practice, maintaining quality management systems, and leading our in-house sustainability group, Laura’s adaptability and keen attention to detail benefit every aspect of our studio life. 

Morgan Williams Parnell

Architect

Morgan studied at Sheffield University and the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow. He joined Jamie Fobert Architects as a Part II Architectural Assistant in September 2018, bringing with him a real passion for drawing, model making and design. His projects in the studio have included a new art centre inside the Shredded Wheat Factory in Welwyn Garden City and our major redevelopment of the National Portrait Gallery, including oversight of works to the Weston Wing. Morgan completed his Part III studies at the University of Westminster and he qualified as an Architect in 2021. Two years running, Morgan acted as one of the practice’s Mentors for the Accelerate Scheme. He has a keen interest in sustainability and natural materials and is a member of the JFA Sustainability Working Group. Morgan is currently working on our new Maggie’s Centre for Coventry.

Nicholas Ivanov

Architectural Assistant (Pt II)

Nick came to Jamie Fobert Architects in 2024, after completing his MArch studies at the London School of Architecture, where his thesis, ‘Regenerative Works’ explored an alternative model for architectural practice, advocating for regenerative approaches to modern construction. His experience in practice included work for Yellow Cloud Studio and Thomas McBrien Architects. Knowledgeable and socially conscious, Nick brings a broad set of both analogue and digital design skills. Since joining the JFA team, he has been working on the Tower of London.

Olivia Holt

Architectural Assistant (Pt II)

Olivia joined Jamie Fobert Architects in Spring 2022, having completed her BA(Hons) and MArch with distinction at Kingston University. In her studies, she focused on understanding the complexities of site and region, form and space, culture and community. Before joining the JFA team, Olivia worked at Haworth Tomkins, Allies and Morrison – working on projects such as Battersea Arts Centre, the repair and refurbishment of Holland House and the masterplanning of Brookwood Cemetery – and Henley Halebrown Architects. Olivia is a very skilled visualiser, with a keen interest in creating beautiful interior spaces. She also has an interest in buildings of historical importance and re-use projects, and since she joined Jamie Fobert Architects, Olivia has worked on two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, our major redevelopment of the Royal Observatory Greenwich and our work at the Tower of London.

Pia Greenway

Architectural Assistant (Pt I)

In 2025, Pia came to Jamie Fobert Architects as a freshly graduated Part I, having completed her BSc studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture. Her skills include physical and digital model-making and drawing and creating beautiful renders. With a keen interest in recycled, upcycled and sustainable materials and having had work experience with joiners and cabinetmakers as well as architects, Pia has a well-rounded approach to collaboration in the architecture studio.

Thomas Longley

Associate

Thomas joined Jamie Fobert Architects as a qualified Architect in 2019 to work on the National Portrait Gallery project, where he led the development of the new forecourt. After excelling in his studies as a young designer, graduating with First Class Honours and receiving a prize for digital draftsmanship, he moved to New York to work for I-Beam Design. He then worked for seven years for education specialists Nicholas Hare Architects, for whom his projects included the David Attenborough Building in Cambridge and the Arts Building for Canterbury Christ Church University. At Jamie Fobert Architects, in addition to his work for the National Portrait Gallery, Thomas has overseen private residential projects in St Johns Wood and North Yorkshire and our competition proposals for the British Museum Western Range and Queen Elizabeth Memorial, as well as developing the practice’s BIM strategy and implementation as part of the in-house BIM group. He was made an Associate in 2024.

Tom Clark

Associate Director

Tom is an experienced and highly capable Architect with 18 years of qualified professional experience designing and delivering substantial architectural projects. He studied at The Manchester School of Architecture, graduating in 2002, and London Metropolitan University, where he obtained his qualification as an Architect in 2008. He worked for Maccreanor Lavington Architects, where he gained experience in masterplanning and worked on a 12-storey London hotel. Since joining Jamie Fobert Architects in 2010, Tom has skilfully led a number of major arts projects as well as overseeing two RIBA Award-winning residential projects, Luker House and House in Primrose Hill. He oversaw the refurbishment works to the historic Burlington Arcade and the Charleston Exhibition Centre and he headed up our £40m redevelopment of the National Portrait Gallery. Currently, Tom is overseeing our work at the Tower of London. Tom was made an Associate in 2015 and Associate Director in 2024.

William Bellamy

Architect

Will joined Jamie Fobert Architects in 2019, qualifying as an Architect in 2021. He gained a First from The Bartlett, UCL, where his studies included making and construction at Grysmdyke Farm and a unit which was nominated for the RIBA Bronze Medal. He worked at Piercy & Company on projects including an award-winning RIBA Regent Street Windows installation, the research-led charred timber cabin Fieldwork Studio and several city-scale developments. He completed his Part II at the London School of Architecture with a distinction, focussing on social change and receiving nominations for the RIBA Silver President’s Medal and the AJ Student Prize. Since he joined the JFA team, Will has led the furniture design for the National Portrait Gallery, worked on the concept design for Maggie’s Coventry and has most recently been a key member of the Royal Observatory Greenwich team, since competition stage. He is a member of the practice’s Sustainability Group.
