I.T.

The Project

In 2013, the multi-brand fashion house I.T. celebrated their 25th anniversary by opening a brand new concept store in Beijing. Located at Parkview Green, a glittering pyramid which is one of China’s biggest sustainable buildings, the store occupies a vast 2,000 sqm spread over two floors.

Our design is based around a recurring box motif. Twenty-two black metal boxes of different sizes are placed throughout the space, creating visual consistency whilst allowing the differentiation of each brand's personality. A bold, black metal staircase connecting the two floors continues the theme and offers a powerful visual experience as shoppers arrive and leave the store.
The floor is made of luxurious marble alternated with segments of sandblasted parquet and poured cement, creating a modern, eclectic look and adding another layer of visual drama.
