Kurt Geiger

The Project

Our new design concept for Kurt Geiger is focused on celebrating the shoe. Drawing inspiration from nature and plants, we wanted our designs to demonstrate a sense of adaptability and growth.

Pedestals of Jesmonite were inspired by organic, Art Nouveau patterns, layered with mechanical imagery. The resulting forms, framed within a curving polished plaster ribbon wall, represent a playful and progressive approach.
Our concept design, which can be adapted for boutiques and department store concessions alike, establishes a new architectural signature for Kurt Geiger, articulating the brand’s distinctive confidence. The first new boutique opened at Selfridges in May 2018.
A core part of our concept was to cater for every shoe season and style, from the flat sandal to the full length boot. This was achieved in the pivoting action of our cast shelves around a fixed aluminium ‘stem’, allowing multiple configurations of varying display heights throughout the store.
